GUINNESS ADVENTURES!

This is St. James Gate.
In 1759 Arthur Guinness started brewing Guinness here in a brewery that took up maybe 4 acres or so. I don't remember exactly. Today the brewing complex spans over something like 64 acres. What's really amazing is that Guinness signed a 9000 year lease that locked him in at 45 pounds sterling a year!
Smart choice.
Even though that price is only for the original 4 acres, it's still a great business move.

This is not St. James Gate, but it is a gate none the less.

DUBLIN SIGHTS
Trinity College
I walked into the courtyard, and went looking for the Book of Kells.
They'll have to wait until another day for my 8 Euros, i had too much to see.

Four Courts
This is the Supreme Court of Ireland.
I can see it from the windows in the suit, and it's about three blocks away and across the river.

This is a little ally way in the Temple Bar area that shoots out to the River Liffy.
Temple Bar is full of cobblestone streets with Guinness and Carlsberg signs hanging from the pubs and restaurants. Very European looking.

uh... cool looking?
I don't know what this is called, or what it is.
It's just awesome.

Dublin Castle
Just a picture, don't have a story because i haven't explored yet.

O'Connell Bridge(excuse me, this is actually Ha' Penny Bridge, and much older and more famous bridge. way back when, you had to pay a ha'penny to cross)

Nelsons Pillar.
Huge. Spike.
At night the top part gets lit up.

I saw all this (and much much more), in the first 24 hours.
Stay tuned for lots of great stuff!
